BIG NEWS: Maple Bank is becoming Granite Bank!

We are announcing that we have entered into an agreement to be acquired by Granite Bank, a family-owned community bank which is based in central Minnesota (Cold Spring & Spicer offices).  We’re very excited about what this partnership will bring to our customers, employees, and the communities we serve.

Granite Bank has an outstanding reputation in Central Minnesota, and we know they’ll continue the tradition of supporting our local community and economy.  Granite Bank is excited to continue our service to small business customers and families at our current Champlin office.

The acquisition is anticipated to close around the beginning of the 3rd quarter 2022.  At that point you will notice a change in the name and logo, but your existing accounts and services will not be affected.

Positive Benefits:

Here are some positive effects for you:

• Increased lending capacity and lending products

• Family-owned, community bank management

• We will continue to be a community bank focused on businesses like yours

• Staff:   We are excited to keep our staff, so you can continue working with the bankers you know

• Coming soon: new offerings will include mortgage, insurance and retirement services

It feels good to know that you, our customer, will be in good hands with a community bank that shares our same values. We appreciate your business and please watch your mail and email for additional information coming soon.

We are excited to continue working with you!

BALLFIELD LIGHTING

Deb Wilson proudly holds the piggy bank full of cash that Maple Bank donated to help the City of Champlin dedicate the new ballfield lighting system on one of Champlin’s many ballfields. Mayor Ryan Karasek, the Champlin City Council, and Charlie Lehn, Parks and Facilities Manager were on hand for the September 14th dedication. The new LED lights provide great lighting for the field, while reducing Champlin Parks Department’s electric bill. Deb Wilson won the piggy bank in the seventh inning of the baseball game that followed the dedication ceremony. Darkness had fallen by that time, but look at the great lighting for the photo!
